Within the framework of our business connected with Occupational Health Management Systems (complied with requirements of PN-N 18001 and OHSAS 18001 standards) we have realized wide range of projects considering adjustment of businesses and institutions to applied legal OH&S regulations and other to which they are obliged to comply.
Within the scope of OHS MALON we provide complex services in the scope of OH&S. From basic responsibilities of OHS Service, through supervision over them in the given Organization, substantial help for specialists who are parts of them, to conducting a wide range of analysis and expertises relating to OH&S.
Our activities within this area include:
- Control of valid law OH&S regulations (Polish and EU ones) and defining internal solutions in order to ensure organizational conformity with law requirements
- identification of law requirements and other relating to OH&S, applicable to the given Organization, and assessment of conformity with these regulations in order to define the conformity level
- Planning and supervision over realization of activities in order to ensure complete conformity with valid OH&S regulations
- Control of valid law regulations applicable to the given Organization and provide information on new and changed requirements with the plan of their implementation
- Accidents and potential dangerous cases analysis in order to define and implement activities to prevent the whole organization of similar cases in the future
- Participation in making over new build or rebuilt buildings or parts of buildings that anticipate work spaces or devices and may have an influence on staff safety and environmental work. Raise suggestions of OH&S requirements for applied and new-implemented process
- Participation in risk assessment or analysis of functioning solutions within this scope
- Define and suggest needs regarding infrastructure and equipment indispensable to ensure the Organization proper OH&S and preparedness in case of emergency (including fire)
- Initiation and development of OH&S issues and ergonomics in the Organization
- Elaboration of Characteristic Charts of substances complied with applied legal regulations
- Advisory within the scope of OH&S
- Initial OH&S trainings (law requirements) including workstation changes for new employed people
- Preparation of indispensable OH&S documentation, required by law and internal regulations such as: workstation instructions, list of forbidden works for women, list of forbidden works for junior workers, list of works that require a high psychophysical fitness, list of particularly dangerous works, list of works performed by two people, rules of cooperation with subcontractors and their implementation for use
- Identification of needs in the scope of work environment research and presentation to person responsible for the given localizations, with indication of authorized laboratories (control over validity of planning elements and record within this scope, required by law and internal organizational regulations)
- Cooperation with laboratories authorized, according to individual regulations, to make researches and measurements of factors harmful for health or oppressive work conditions, in the scope of organizing researches and measurements mentioned above as well as ways of personnel protection against these factors or conditions
- Current control and raising suggestions in the scope of building marks (safety and evacuation marks)
- Supervision of staff medical examination
- Updating of an occupational risk assessment and acquaintance staff with analysis results
- Participation in elaboration of plans of modernization and development of particular localization as well as raising proposals regarding technical and organizational solutions ensuring enhancement of OH&S conditions
- Participation in assessment of assumption and documentation referring to modernization of the given localization or its part, new investments as well as raising proposals regarding OH&S requirements in these assumptions and documentation
- Control and supervision of fire safety equipment, first aid kit content and other equipment for ensuring the right level of preparedness in case of emergency, including fire
- Inspections in localization in order to monitor status of safety. Inspections shall control work conditions, identify nonconformities and threats and define activities and proposals of technical and organizational enterprises that help to eliminate nonconformities and threats and may prevent organization from their re-occurring
- Participation in investigation on labour accidents circumstances and causes, elaboration of applications resulting from researches of causes and circumstances of these accidents and industrial diseases as well as control over realization of these applications
- Management of registers, collecting and storage of documentation referring to labour accidents, stated and presumable industrial accidents, storage of health examinations results and measurements of factors harmful for health in work environment
- Initial OH&S trainings (law requirements) including workstation changes for new employed people
